Where Nature and Design Intertwine
Inter-twined translates biomimicry's Life's Principles into practical methods for designers who want to create products that work with natural systems, not against them.
Through case studies, designer interviews, and observations from the natural world, we'll show how life-centered thinking can transform a design process. Together, we can learn from nature’s research and development lab and translate its wisdom into better, more resilient products.
Welcome to our 21-Day Life-Centered Design Thinking Challenge; a daily creative journaling and sketching practice to reconnect ourselves with nature and designing as part of living systems.
Each day at 12 AM (ET), we will share a short prompt inspired by life-centered design principles, encouraging designers to brainstorm, reflect, sketch, and reconnect their creative practice with natural systems.
The challenge runs from April 22 through May 12, followed by a Reflection Day on May 13. Participation is open to everyone, no registration required. This challenge is designed to be flexible and anyone can jump in at any time. Anyone interested can simply follow along here on our website or visit our LinkedIn page.
This challenge is designed primarily for designers, students, and creative thinkers who want to explore how design can move beyond human-centered thinking to support thriving living systems.
